It was almost 3 AM and I was hosting the ghost chat room when suddenly I smelled this very strong perfume. It was a smell that I have never ever noticed before in this house. The smell was soo strong I could taste it. It all seemed to settle in the back of my throat, making me want to gag. I have never smelled that fragrance before and don't even know what type of perfume it is. I tried to keep my mind on the chat room and not let on that there were things going on at the house. After a few minutes, the smell went away and then I didn't notice anything else happening. That was the first time that I've ever experienced something like that and really had me puzzled.

Then a few days later, around 2 AM I was chatting merrily away in the room. The house was all locked up and my son was upstairs sleeping. On the front main door to the house I have a fairly large, heavy glass sun-catcher. I put it up over the front window in the door to maintain privacy. As I was listening to someone else share their story in the chat room, suddenly there was a gust of wind that seemed to whiz right past me and then suddenly through the corner of my eye, I saw the glass sun-catcher start to move back and forth, as if someone had been setting it in motion to swing on the nail and yarns that it is attached to. I found this really odd, as we have all the windows closed in the house since the seasons were changing and it was getting cold out. It continued it's pendulum motion until it slowed down it's momentum and finally stopped. I was too scared to move! Since I still can't walk and have to be off this mending foot, I stay parked pretty much in one spot. I don't know what that was about either, but it sure was another "out of the normal" thing that has been going on here.

A couple weeks later, I was just getting ready to go to sleep when I got all nice and snuggly and covered up. I heard from my left ear (as I was laying on my right side and that ear in the pillow) some sort of whispering from a voice that sounded male. The voice said "shramm..shramm..shramm" a few times then stopped. At this point I am almost too scared to open up my eyes for fear of what I may see next. Then I remembered something that happened a few weeks ago as well. That other time I seemed to be hearing whisperings too, but I dismissed it as probably my imagination. I wasn't sure what those whisperings were as it just sounded like mumblings to me. This time, though, when I heard that "shramm..shramm..shramm," I was able to make out that.

The only other things that still go on are the constant walking up and down the steps to my son's room upstairs and a few other goofy things that I just have chalked up to being non-related things. For example, during the past two months, I have gone through 4 electric coffee pots. The first coffee pot that just stopped working, I figured that was a fault of the manufacturer and maybe I just got "lucky" and got the one with some sort of defective part that after a few weeks. It was a mail-order item, and even though I had the receipts, etc, I just couldn't send it back to Amazon and say "no wonder your offered such a good sale on this product, it's defective!"

Then I sent my son out to get another one. It was the same brand but a less fancy model. Well, sad to say that after about 3 weeks, that one just stopped working too! It just just wouldn't heat up. Now I'm thinking it is just a certain part that this manufacturer may use that is a piece of junk!

So we're on the third new coffee pot at this point. I made sure this was a totally different brand. Again after a few weeks the thing stops working. With the new one I have now, it seems to be working fine. Hopefully this one that's only 2 weeks old won't start having problems as well.
