I had a very odd experience today coming home from the store. I just came back from doing a little grocery shopping and pulled into the garage. I started to unloaded the stuff from the trunk and carried it into the basement when I heard someone sawing wood. Now.. I knew no one was home as my son was at work.
I continued to carry the bags of groceries from the garage to the basement and continued hearing that sawing wood sound. As I got closer to the kitchen, the noise stopped. Putting the bags down on the kitchen floor, I continued to go down the basement steps to get the next load of bags. As I entered the gargage from the basement, I heard the sawing of wood sound start up again. I gathered the big bottles of laundry detergent and carried it to the washer area in the basement while that sound STILL continued!
I thought at first perhaps it was my son home early from work and doing some odd project around the house even though I didn't see his car parked anywhere. The last bag of groceries I got from the car and that sawing of wood sound kept up til I reached the kitchen and it stopped. That's true..just happened too.. so I really don't know what to think.
